Including and editing payment processing fees
Learn how to include payment processing fees on your invoices and adjust the fee percentage. This allows you to pass Stripe processing costs on to your clients.
Before including payment processing fees, make sure you’ve set up online payments and enabled online payments on your invoice.
- Open an invoice that has online payments enabled, and tap on EDIT to enter edit mode
- Toggle on Include Processing Fees to add the payment processing fee as a markup on your invoice. This will pass the Stripe processing cost on to your client by marking up the price of each item accordingly. Learn more about processing fees
- An initial fee percentage of 3% is applied to your invoice when the toggle is enabled. To adjust the fee percentage, tap on the Payment Processing Fee field and enter your desired rate.
