Probuild integrates directly with QuickBooks Online to keep your clients, estimates, invoices and payments in sync automatically, so you never have to enter the same data twice. Once connected, the records you choose are pushed to QuickBooks Online and kept up to date as you make changes in Probuild.

QuickBooks sync is a Pro plan feature, available in the Probuild app.

What gets synced

Sync is one way, from Probuild to QuickBooks Online:

• Clients sync as QuickBooks customers
• Estimates sync as QuickBooks estimates
• Invoices sync as QuickBooks invoices
• Payments recorded against synced invoices sync as QuickBooks payments

You decide how much syncs from your sync preferences. For example, all clients or only those linked to synced estimates and invoices, and estimates and invoices from a specific date or going forward only.

Good to know

• Sync is one way. Probuild is the source of truth. Changes made directly in QuickBooks aren’t pulled back into Probuild.
• Clients come along for the ride. QuickBooks requires every estimate and invoice to be linked to a customer, so a client syncs alongside any estimate or invoice that syncs.
• Payments follow invoices. Payments only sync when invoices are syncing.
• You can track sync status. Each record shows whether it’s syncing, synced, or failed, and you can retry anything that didn’t go through.
