Why can’t I view or edit certain estimates or invoices?
If you are unable to view or access an estimate or invoice that you know has been created by another user, there are things you can try that may fix the issue.
- If the estimate or invoice was created within a project, you must be assigned as a user on that project in order to view associated documents. Ask the user who created the project to make sure they’ve added you as a user. The following guides include detailed steps on how to do this on Android and iOS.
- The user who created the estimate or invoice may have limited the visibility of that project post to a role that is different from the one assigned to you. For example, if your role is set to “Manager”, and the person who posted the estimate set the visibility to “Admin”, you won’t be able to see the estimate. - In some cases, the higher-level user access permissions assigned to your profile and/or role may not allow you to view and edit estimates or invoices. The following guides include detailed steps on how to modify user access permissions for all users on Android and iOS.
- In rare cases, there may have been an issue with an older version of the app. Please ensure that you have the latest version of the app installed on your mobile device.
